STORM Swimbait Fishing Challenge (BIG Mistakes)

What is going on everyone? In this episode of Dirty dersch Fishing I go to a farm pond open to the public and try out 4 different STORM Baits. I catch quite a few fish but ruin my phone and camera. The day started out so promising ended being a terrible expensive day.

I use the small northern pike storm baits at a local pond to great effect. The pike that moved in ate the majority of other smaller game fish in the water, thus forcing them to rely more on cannibalistic behaviours in order to survive. Those little pike storm swimbaits have never failed me when I go there, and not uncommonly on my first cast!
I definitely suggest using these swimbaits in areas where you know what the fish are eating, and string your line accordingly.

were those 2" or 3" sunfish? i really couldnt tell

The most productive storm bait is the 2" sunfish pattern snap off the top hook with some pliers and send it I got Hella smallmouth bass and pike minnow with them

What kind of reel do you have. You crank it so fast 😂

These have been a hit and miss thing for me. They seem to be very tricky to retrieve at just the right speed. Sometimes I'll retrieve and realize the lure has been swimming sideways.

I got 525 bass so far this year so far with 3mo to go using storm wildeye 4"!

I've been using the storm pikes. have them in all 3 sizes. it's like shopping, not fishing. the pike hot them hard and destroy the hooks. I think I'm on my 9th package or so.

that lure you call a pickerel is a pike i have both of them i can't belive you can not tell the difference
