It is looking like the FED will stick the landing on the balance beam of inflation vs. employment which is why after the stagflation of the 1970s the FED became independent of any self-serving political influence and meddling in monetary policy. On the other hand, TFG who is clueless about economics wants politicians to have a hand in monetary policy. I guess he hasn't read any U.S. history which is typical.
