by the way, a lot of these titles behind animal produce are usually marketing scams. For example, there are grass fed beef but most baby cows need to eat grass first before switching to grain so as long as the cow ate some grass in any stage of their life, you can call the cows “grass fed”

I raise my own chickens and there is a complete difference in taste between store bought and home raised eggs. The yolks are also way darker in color, more of an orange. So long as your chickens are happy anyway, darker the yolk, happier the chicken :)

Chicken farmer here: take my advice and just buy pasture raised, mine are farm raised and basically spoiled incredibly, it’s much better for the birds.

Regular and Pasture Raised are the only ones which do what their labels say without having a "loophole".
Regular is just eggs, made in the most efficient way possible.
Pasture Raised are eggs that are made in the most humane way possible.
