The school of the undead is in session 🧛‍♀️ Growing Fangs, one of six Disney Launchpad Shorts, starts streaming May 28 on Disney+.

Val Garcia, a Mexican-American teen who is half human/half vampire, has had to keep her identity a secret from both worlds. But when her human best friend shows up at her monster-infested school, she has to confront her truth, her identity, and herself.

I feel like Disney deciding to release these launchpad trailers the same day as the Eternals trailer is unfortunate because no ones going to be talking about these shorts today, and when they com out this weekend all everyone’s going to balking about and watch on Disney+ is Cruella.

I can get with half- human/vampire. But am I supposed to BELIEVE that some dude brings garlic with him to someone else's house for dinner? My mom would have given him a death glare and my grandmother would have smacked him with her flip-flop

Of all the Launchpad shorts, I think _Growing Fangs_ is the best. I can totally see it being expanded to a full-length feature film, or even a TV series.

A Dhampir? Is she a Daywalker or is she not? Why did she start to burn when her mom opened the curtains? Also, if her mom is Moroi, how come she can open the curtains without burning? Why is a vampire school being held during the day? Are they all daywalkers? Dhampir can burn but Moroi don't? I'm confused.
