Normally, I only buy books I want to read. Though, I also get books from subscription boxes and mystery boxes, too. So, there's really no method to the madness.

I really enjoyed your purple spine books. I have almost no purple on my shelf. It just seems like all the books I like, have black, blue, or white spines, with a smattering of red.

I organize my personal bookshelves alphabetically by author's last name, but split up fiction, nonfiction, and cookbooks. I face out books that I haven't read yet (or if I'm Zooming with students, books we have at school that they might be interested in.)

What are the figures on the top of your bookshelves? They looked really cool, but I couldn't quite tell what they were.

I've got mine in a rainbow, but I spin them around after I've read them so I can see and grab unread easier. As a result my shelves look pretty trashed lol, need to do an unhaul severely but no one is taking donations right now.

What is the blue book in the corner that's a problematic author? I don't recognize and cannot read the spine for the life of me.
Love your rainbow shelves! I love rainbow shelves in theory but for myself I cannot handle splitting up authors and series. It would drive me bananas!
