MF Fully Connected
The new tractors include the MF Connect telemetry system with three-year subscription as standard, along with a new Agrirouter system to wirelessly transfer agronomic data to compatible farm management solutions. The system comes with Massey Ferguson NEXT machine management software with availability by year’s end, enabling operators to create and process A-B lines and plan, manage, and document operations and create and transfer treatment plans and application maps.

The included Datatronic 5 terminal serves as “the operator’s control and information station.” Besides monitoring and controlling tractor functions and ISOBUS-compatible implements, the terminal can run automatic steering, section and rate control, and other tools in the MF Technologies Suite. A separate Fieldstar 5 touchscreen terminal can also control these functions. Elsewhere, Massey Ferguson is introducing a new MyMF digital customer portal to manage equipment and data via cloud-based solutions and create various My Farm, My Team, and My Machines profiles on MF Connect.

Engine & Transmissions

The 8S models use a six-cylinder, 7.4-litre AGCO Power Stage V-compliant engine featuring Massey Ferguson maintenance-free All-In-One after treatment technology. Mounted on the tractor’s outside, the system omits a Diesel Particulate Filter and Variable Geometry Turbocharger. The Protect-U design, meanwhile, positions the engine such that cooling and performance are also improved.

The MF 8 Series lineup includes the 205-horsepower MF 8S.205, the 225-hp MF 8S.225, the 245-hp MF 8S.245, and the top-of-the-line 265-hp MF 8S.265, and Engine Power Management (EPM) technology gives each an extra 20hp for transport, PTO, and hydraulics tasks.
