I couldn't drop four drops into the device. Only one clear drop was released from the vial, followed by a lot of bubbles.

I couldn't get the fluid to go through the dropper tip, then I ended up squeezing too hard and the top popped out of the dropper. That of course nullified the test. Any advice when we can't get the dropper to work? I tried on (& wasted) 2 tests already. Is there supposed to be that white part inside the tip? Seems like that's blocking the fluid.

There is not enough fluid in my test kits to get four drops. I got about one drop, and then a lot of bubbles. I have a lot of these test kits, and they all expire in 1/2024, so what I have started doing is combining the fluid from two test kits, bringing the level of the fluid in the vial that I am going to use up to the bottom line molded into the plastic vial. I have complained to Siemens twice about this problem on their online contact form, but they do not respond.

There is a hard plug in the part you put in where the drops are supposed to come out. No matter how hard I tried or how long I waited I couldn't get the drops to come out. Is this a defect? Out of all 8 tests none of them worked. I even just put plain water in one of the tops and let it sit and it wouldn't let drops out. Am I supposed to take that plug out somehow??

I did contact tech support for cap popping off. I shared my experience in detail. I asked them to pass along my recommendation to include a small eye dropper in each kit. Caps is defective. Excess mucus is not anything we can control. Update: if you don’t add an eye dropper to the kit then at least make the white piece under the cal out of a more porous substance so the sample liquid can pass through.

To Siemens. I strongly recommend you include a small eye dropper with each kit. The cap is defective. I have used kit several times and each time the top pops off no matter how I hold the tube. You say it’s mucus which causes top to pop off. There is no way we can control how much mucus is in our sample.. the test needs to allow for this and be redesigned. Add eye dropper please. Or make the white material on underside of the cap from a more porous substance so sample liquid can actually pass through it. I finally just took the cap off and gently poured some of the sample into the well. Although background was pinkish, line or lines clearly appear so I believe test results were valid. Please include a dropper in the kit.

Fluid cannot come through the sponge on the end of the applicator. These are completely unusable.

The printed instructions that come with the test should note that it's normal for the entire background of the test strip to turn light pink (as is apparent in the video). This is unlike the behavior of other tests I've used, and when I first saw it on the Siemens test, I thought perhaps my test kit had expired or malfunctioned for some reason.

While helping my mom with this test, it occurred to me that this test had more steps and seemed more tedious than the tests my husband & I were sent. My mother in-law also received a test with more steps. Both of our mother’s are in the 80+ age group. I hope that the more complicated tests weren’t sent to the older age group on purpose.🤔

I am not confident in these tests. For both myself and my husband, the T line showed up immediately, and very dark. Waited the 15 minutes & there was no visible change on any of the tests. We took 3 tests from the same package and got the exact same results. Just wondering if that’s a sign that there’s an issue with the batch of tests? Cant find any info online.
