Low tunnels are a great way to add extra frost protection to your garden. You can build low tunnels over your existing gardens and start earlier in the spring or grow later into the fall and winter.

I have low tunnels on all my outside beds and they work great even in nights that go below 20 degrees. I’m in central Texas! My hot house gets to over 100 when it’s 32 outside with a North wind at 14 mph.

Good Greens Batman, lol, with your boys you need all the veggies you can grow. I'm glad the low tunnel is working well.

I'm jealous! I just have a smaller ShelterLogic greenhouse, and I'll only be using it to start seeds this year. I have a thermometer that records the high and low, but only for one day. I really like that alert stuff because it only takes a few hours to destroy all of your plants with high temperatures!

It doesn't get cold enough down here in Mobile, Al for a high tunnel, but low tunnels are the bomb!! Love the videos sir.

Pretty neat tool for you to have around. We are in a real cold snap right now. It's a cold 59° outside at 5:45 pm and temps are dropping. We could hit a low of 38° in the next few days (at night) LOL. That's all I got young man, Just messing with you. Stay Safe and warm. Later Okie

You don't have to prove anything Mr Dan. Lots of hard work there. Looks professional 👍. I'd sure love to eat your food. What your doing for your family is very commendable. I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Lilah and I live in upstate NY. Just 13 miles north of Watkins Glen NY home of NASCAR Road course. And I'm in the heart of wine country (the finger lakes region.) Good livin.

Wonderful information. Thank you for your easily understood explanations. You have always taken your time to explain( except when Houston wants something in the Batlbox 😂😂)!

Man that is awesome, good investment. I need a greenhouse so I can buy one of those gadgets😁

Cool piece of kit for what it does do, but got me thinking that it needs app integration so that it can control other things, such as fans, window actuators, heaters, etc.. Kind of like IFTT or Alexa, Smart Home, etc.. Thanks for the ideas, Daniel.

Great video, Daniel, I'm in Maine and temps are brutal. My plan is to take a Harbor Freight 10x17 portable garage that the cover is shot and move the tubing to my garden and make a green house and adding low tunnels. If I can grow some things through to December and then start a month, or 2 earlier would be awesome.
I am thinking if you added some black, or dark barrels beside the low tunnels it might bring the temps up some more.
I will have to check out the gadgets you mentioned. Thanks.
Blessings, Jim

I think there’s a thing you can get that will automatically open the vents in the greenhouse when it gets above a certain temp. Doesn’t require electricity. Forgot what it was called. 🤔

Find someone that uses a lot of 2L soda pop and get the empty bottles from them, fill them with H2O, then put them every foot in the raised bed and then check the temp....see YouTube channel Our Wyoming Life...Erin does this in her green house in Wyoming...if she can keep the temp good there, it should be a piece of cake for you.
