The 4080 GPU alone is almost 3x the price of PS5. Basically, both look the same. Play on a TV from 6 feet away, and you won't tell any difference.

Where is the FPS counter in the top RHS of the screen? That's what matters when everything else looks the same.

The screen/image on the PC shakes too much and the track billboards (left and right) including fences are too distracting because of the shakes.
The Screen/image on the PS5 Looks more smooth and still sharp.

Kind of suspicious just how good consoles can look compared to GPUs costing 3 times as much and being supposedly far more feature rich. We PC gamers are getting swindled.

You can clearly see all those game nowdays really not push the pc high end gpus. they are still build for the ps4 as the basic console.

For people that never used a 4080 it’s not even close you can play games at 4k at like 200fps compared to 60fps

The comparison makes no sense because the graphic settings of the PC version are missing.

For a game like this it is clear that the difference in 4K at 60 fps is not much: the two platforms should be compared for much heavier titles, at the same or similar settings. For example, those for whom PS5 does not go beyond 30 fps or struggles to reach 60 fps.

In this regard, the actual fps counter is missing and the uploaded video makes the PC version seem jerky. Why? The comparison is not "honest".

Advantage of pc is that you can choose from a lot of different Direct Drive Brand, also you can play it with triple screen.

Any reasons on 60FPS? Both are capable of 120hZ. Also is Ray Tracing activated on PC. I have the 4080 and can't seem to get great graphics unless I turn DLSS off.

The difference is so small that the average person can't tell the difference, it's hard to imagine it being as different as glass and diamond.

The PS5 is more pleasing to the eyes and has a better overall feeling of speed because of one subtle detail, the lettering on the sides of the track.
On the PS5 it is more fluid whereas the 4080 has that subtle choppiness. Once I noticed that then it became obvious and could not ignore it.

I own a PS5, a 4070 ti PC and a 2060 PC, the graphic quality between these systems in most games is very similar. The biggest plus of the 4070 is not the visual quality, but that you can play games with good FPS (like Cyberpunk) and to play VR games where you need a lot of horse power to get to 140 fps to reduce motion sickness. Bottom linn the difference into max settings and lower ones in most cases is not that noticeable, buy a new GPU when you can´t run your fav game at acceptable frame rates with lower settings.Just my 2 cents

Im a console guy that recently built a PC(4080 Super GPU, i9 13900K CPU, etc) for all kind of needs and i also play on it and let me tell you something, i love consoles but on this PC i run games like Alan Wake 2 and Cyberpunk 2077 in 4K HDR with path ray tracing and the highest possible settings and hooked up to an OLED TV this games looks amazing, with DLSS set on quality plus FG, depending on the title i get like 60-80 FPS, if i turn off FG i still get over 30-50 FPS, but i repet, this are titles like i mentioned, very demanding ones because the 4080 Super is capable of way more frames in other titles even with maxed out settings. There is no comparison, Cyberpunk with highest settings and highest possible ray tracing ootions just look incredible in HDR on an OLED TV, i haven't experienced such level of ray tracing on consoles. The PC was built slowly part by part and i searched for deals and offers, it costed me 2200 euros and the GPU was exactly half of this price but imwould say it was worth it, im playing with a controller on the PC like im used too from the consoles and this PC will be used for some work too so i needed it. I will still own and love consoles but i just needed to tell that a PC with games that utilizes the GPU to the max there is a difference and im woowed sometimes. I still think that if someone do not have a budget to build such a PC a console offers a very good experience for the price and its not the end of the world if you dont experience max ray tracing and ultra settings, i lastly played Spiderman 2 on my PS5 and i very much enjoyed the title, it looked good and had some good ray tracing too!
