I just heard Cassandra Peterson on a radio interview. She said the only backlash has come from "middle-aged, mid-western yokels" who never had a chance with her anyway. I laughed out loud!
Love Cassandra, and I luckily got to meet her, have a photo-op and autographs. She was, and still is, wonderful.

I always loved every piece of work Cassandra did (Allan Quartermain - 1986, Stroker Ace - 1983, Echo Park - Ted & Venus - 1991 and others).
She portrayed each part with grace, fun and charisma. Like most men, I fell head over heels in love with her Character Elvira. She was sexily sassy. Now, i DO have to be honest here, over time, sadly I did forget about her, so, when the algorithm sent me this video, I praise God for that. If Cassandra gets to read this, I would, with a genuine, warm, honourable intent and kindest regards say...
Cassandra, thankfully life has been mostly kind to you, you still show yourself to be captivating, the way you carry yourself, the charisma you have and the positivity and confidence you show through the adversity and trials you have sadly had to endure. With the upmost respect, you really are divine. I wish I were she (who ever she is (and if this was a different universe)) who has the great fortune to have you in her life. I just don't care about the scarring physically, it's NEVER all about the visual, it should ALWAYS be primarily the persona.
Yes it is sad it happened, but, in a way, the after effects was a positive contribution to making you... You.. Strong, intellectually stimulating and inspiring.
You're beautiful, you're a true lady, without doubt utterly outstanding!
Haha, If I was lucky enough to go out with you, drinks, meal, or any time to spend with you, me being a sapiophile, I'd cherish every single minute whilst in your company with much in the way of mentally stimulating discourse to light hearted and whimsical chat, laughter, and generally an enjoyable time.
