If you think Pluto is lonely. Remember that there are planets out there without a star. Also, while it's not confirmed it's also very likely there are planets out there in between GALAXIES. The gaps between just stars is scary but the void like gaps in between galaxies is so incomprehensibly vast it's pointless to even try and put it into words.


A planet in that situation will drift alone and frozen for billions upon billions of years before it has even a chance of meeting a new galaxy. On a planet like this. Existence would be completely meaningless. No sense of time, no light from a star, no way to tell where you are or where you're going. No signal will reach you, no end in sight.
