I don't know why do people even consider that comparing BOCW animations with MW19-MW22 is a good idea. It's not fair. Both MWs had a full production cycle while CW was build from SHG's dying Vietnam project in like a year or so. I think Treyarch did an amazing job making a game from just almost a scratch in such small time period. They even provided up with new features that never been before in Black Ops series, but became a new standard with MW19 release. Too bad we haven't seen Ural Mountains map for Warzone and got Verdansk '84 instead.

The empty mag inspect animation 0:40 at the CW version shows a round or at least a casing in the chamber... Not sure if it is a fired one or not, but it is still there despite the magazine is empty (and cod has no "extra one in the chamber" so that is not the case here).

speaking about graphics.. technically MWII is an improvement over infinity ward’s previous title but idk why MW2019 looks way better, MWII weapons looks like plastic but MW2019 ones looks realistic.. it is what it is i guess 😔

As much as I love MW22. I will never stop loving MW19, graphics are absolutely beautiful, story is incredible, atmosphere is amazing and there is a way more diverse set of weapons, going from classic M4´s to freaking French weapons. The operators etc…
Now MW22 did have really good coop missions and lotsa fun stuff. The campaign is also pretty neat but I value campaign and multiplayer before anything else and don’t get me started on plots. It has to be a goddamn movie to make me enjoy it even more. MW22 is a great standard whereas MW19 exceeds my expectations. None are cash grabs but there’s obviously one game that made me feel a lot more immersed and had this vibe that couldn’t keep me detached and I still play it like never before as if it was about to get erased from earth’s surface

this video to me highlights cold war and how good it really could have been. i understand the limitations of the development time, release dates AND releasing after mw2019 (hands down, the best looking/feeling cod visual wise, absolutely not gameplay wise) just turned it into a forgettable mess, but i loved it. if it didn't play so slow and was overly clunky i would love to keep playing this game. shame it got forgotten, i loved the atmosphere. would play now, but there's also talk of cold war being super unsafe to play, with ip grabbers and such. real shame, this game had insane potential if it just got a bit more time to marinate and a bit of polish.



side note, zombies was a massive W. a little overly noob-friendly sure, but i loved zombies and i grinded for dark aether with a relative smile on my face through all of it. except the tac rifles, some of them just felt weird to play to high rounds with 😅

The COLOUR PALETTE of mw2019 is just so good. Shame they tried changing it in codmw2 with a more sunset vibe color palette.

It's hilarious how everyone criticised cold war for having terrible animations and told they are just mimicking MW 2019 but for some reason MW's AK-103(Kastov 762) Animation is literally that of COLD WAR ak but it gets praised over and over again.
