I hope we get to see more of Ackbar in the future. He is such a great character and deserved a larger role in The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi. I would love to see him appear in some spinoff movie or, perhaps, in his own film. J.J. said that he is going to retcon some of Rian Johnson’s work from The Last Jedi, let’s hope he retcons Ackbar’s death and brings him back in The Rise of Skywalker.

That was very good but. I think that he would Of survived that explosions. He has tough thick layer of cariton around his whole body. Designed for extremely cold climates. Because he is not human he maybe able to keep him for not breathing for a long time. He could of grabbed onto some bits of debris example water breathing tank which you can see quite a few on the bridge of the raddus and with a oxygen tube with each one. Look on the raddus bridge and you will see them very clearly. His tough hid could have easily withstood a blast like that from the ties. And because he doesn’t need as much oxygen as a human would he could use the oxygen tank to propel him to the raddus. Oh and holdo survived as well as the raddus.😺
