Holy smokes! I clicked on this while looking for the American intro to BotP and saw this and decided to check it out mostly out of curiosity. I was blown away at how well she adapted many parts of the theme song to sound incredibly well for the lower pitch of the cello. Nevermind she had to record 10 tracks to get it to sound this amazing. I can't imagine how many takes it took to get it to sound this good. Simply inspiring.

For those who don't know, Battle of the Planets was the American name of Kagaku Ninja Tai Gatchaman. The original anime is now 51 years old. BOTP came out in 1978 so its 45 years old this year
