Trent Valley Railway (London Euston to Crewe) - Driver's Eye View

Fancy a trip on the West Coast Main Line, albeit to as far as Crewe, well you get your chance here in our Trent Valley Railway driver's eye view. We join a Class 350 Desiro EMU on a London Northwestern Railway service, the train runs fast to Rugby calling at Milton Keynes Central in the process. After Rugby we begin the Trent Valley Line all the way to Stafford.

Here we call at intermediate stations such as Nuneaton, Tamworth and Lichfield travelling up to speeds of 110mph. After Stafford we then run non-stop to Crewe hearing the fascinating history along the way. Filmed in real time and two separate days (EUS-MKC and RGL-STA due to weather and signalling issues on the sunnier day), I hope you get to enjoy this ride on the WCML, though sadly not on a Class 390 Pendolino as hoped for but you never know in the future.

Once again thank you to all the fans out there who have continuously supported this channel. Please like, comment and subscribe and stay tuned for more driver's eye views coming soon. So without further or do, sit back and relax and enjoy the journey.

I was the driver on this. At armitage i hit a pigeon at 110mph and it burst, smearing the window and paul had to edit that bit out lol.

Nice job with your cuts from the cab view to an outside view of a train passing the location. Also your narration is very informative. Excellent job.

Another professional team video with added value in the quality and quantity of commentary, script and added cut aways from the cab/line focus of most other ‘Driver’s eye view’ format.
Excellent work, again!

The statement at 2:46 suggesting HS2 will commence at OOC and not Euston is incorrect. The Euston tunnel has never been formally cancelled, only delayed pending confirmation of financing. It is now reported that government will fund this section and formal announcement will be made in the Budget on 30th October, with construction commencing next year. The two boring machines are already in place and all set to go.

What a superb upload, as others have said a good mix of cab and other views with just the right comments to keep the viewers alert. I''m too old now to do much traveling so this was a great experience, keep up the good work. Liked and subsribed, thank you.

I traveled on this route back in 1990 when BritRail still existed on a sleeper train to Fort William. I actually had a 2 week 1st class BritRail pass & went all over UK. There was even a train to Tilbury Dockside where I got on a cruise ship (Royal Princess, the one christened by Princess Diana). Cheers from Vancouver. BTW the BritRail timetable was over 500 pages.
