Reentry Policy Barriers to Education and Employment

Incarcerated and reentering adults often face extensive barriers that non-justice involved adults do not. More specifically, there are currently over 800 structural barriers imposed by Louisiana Law on those with criminal convictions related to employment and education. In this session, hosted by Council of State Governments, panelists from Right on Crime and the Louisiana Community Technical College System will discuss barriers and ways to address barriers around employment and education for our returning citizens.
