I want to share with you guys my journey to understand Quran. Right now it just more or less 2-3 months. And I am abke to understand many sentences of the Quran even though I am not able to understand arabic properly.
I started with madina books . I AM ON vol 3 right now. I advice it to learn the books and its principal rigorously. Especially with a teacher.

Also I used this app Al quran(tafsir & by words) it gives you the meaning of each word. Read quran with it, and day by day u will get stronger. In sha Allah.

Understanding the Noble Qur'an is by Allah's Mercy. Natives and Non natives alike learn the vocabulary, the grammar, aqeedah, figh and even the tasfir. But all that does not really mean one understand the Noble Qur'an. The example of Ibn Abbas (Radi Allahu anhuma) speaks volumes. My "aha moment": Subhan'Allah, got to admit I am guilty of being amongst those who have misunderstood the ayat you mentioned at 6:14. Lesson learnt, just being familiar with the arabic language or being a native speaker alone is simply not enough to truly, deeply understand the Qur'an. May Allah grant us all the tawfiq to be able to master the arabic language and as a result, understand and be affected deeply His Words.
