In this video, we will learn- "Why is water transparent?"

100% pure water is colorless and transparent because all except a tiny bit of blue(for pure water) are reflected back. Since water reflects all colors together it looks colorless. That is why 100% pure water in a clear glass looks transparent.

What is Dispersion of light?
When a white light, like sunlight incident on a prism then the light rays splits up into seven different colors. This phenomenon of splitting up of light into
it's component colors is known as dispersion of light.

Some beaches have crystal clear water while others are unclear and murky.
