I just purchased the new Quiet Comfort. I found that both of my ear holes are different sizes or shaped differently for sure…weird but I now use the small tip on my left and medium on my right. I found this out because my right side would slide off while my left side stayed put, so I changed only the right side and now they’re solid.

I just got my Ultras 2 days ago. A big difference from air pods. All I ever used was apple products. But Bose Ultras have been sweet to use for running and the gym. Noise cancellation really does cancel the sound that I don’t want to hear.

I had QC2 earbuds which I use purely for the gym and I absolutely love them for the NC as it absolutely drowns out the gym music however I have continually had connection issues and got to the point where I could take it no more! Watched fredo initial video on these and went it for it, everything he’s pointed out is spot on comfort, connectivity, sound, ANC absolute steal so far👏👏
On another note I reached out to Bose about my QC2 explained I’d tried everything with regard to fixing the issue all to no avail, this is where Bose in my experience provide an exceptional customer experience!!!! Returned my QC2 and I’m now awaiting a set of ultra earbuds that they upgraded me to free of charge! Non of this …your out of warranty or any other excuse to try and get of it like most other manufacturers or send them back we will repair them, this type of service over the years has turned me in to a Bose fan boy I guess because it’s almost like the companies moto seems to be the customer is always right, well done Bose 👏👏

Thank you for the info. I bought the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds for Christmas and fell in love with how great they sound. So much so I had to find out for myself whether the Comforts are worth the price, so I went the Bose Refurbished website and got some Ultras for $160. I do not have them yet (will be here in three days), but after watching this video (along with two others) and reading several articles, my initial, pre-trial feeling is that the Comforts (though I got them for a great price) may be going back to Bose. Especially since wireless charging is not native and I must pay another $50 to have it (I knew about before purchasing them). You are correct on the cases being bulky and cheap. By far the bulkiest and cheapest looking case out of all the earbuds I have owned (AirPods Pro) and own (Beats Studio Pro + and Samsung Buds2 Pro). By the way, at the 1:38 minute mark, your remark on "happy to see everybody" killed me. That was funny.

I like to have comments about connectivity. Nowadays I travel a lot and like the ANC of Bose, and planes start to have Bluetooth connections in your seats. How easy it is to pair another Bluetooth connection with the Bose QC 2? I have previous Bose headphones before and really annoyed by the restrictions of using their apps to control which one they connect, it is a turn-off for me. If you can comment on the ease of connectivity, that will be very helpful.

Regarding the eartips blocking the sensor is totally user error. You have the eartips pushed in too far in the buds where it just kinda sits there and doesn't snap back into the proper place, so I would check up on that because I know exactly what you're taking about. I'm rocking the XL size eartips and doesn't even come close to blocking the sensor unless I accidentally pushed the tips too far when installing.

I had Quiet Comforts 2 I got last Christmas, loved them but did notice some issues with them that ended with the right one dying entirely. Without using their stupid app the left bud was also useless. Just got the Quiet Comfort 24 and have already noticed better ANC, fit and aside from the change in volume control, I do feel like they are a noticeable improvement.

I'm after a set of buds that I can use at home and at work in a steel workshop environment where there is loud banging and grinding noises. Will the Quite gen 2 be any good at protecting my ears? I know there are dedicated jobsite earbuds like the Isotunes but reviews on them and other brands like them are not very good. Thanks.

At the beginning, you announced to say a word about the annoying buzzing in the left ear peace, but you didn't.

I had to return my ultras because the call quality was so bad where there was any kind of noise. Everybody I spoke to complained. Are the gen 2 any better?
