I remember 3 years ago I first really thought I loved this girl for those years I did almost anything for that girl I bought her stuff I laughed with her and helped her with her problems but she cheats on me 2 months in our relationship I felt played until my 7th grade year until I met the girl I really thought she was perfect and she felt perfect she was perfect I talked to her and then we stopped talking for months until I found her again and now we’re in a relationship but now we’re both freshman living the best I’m glad this song came I really appreciate it

Man, this song hits hard. No one is going to care about my story, but this song reminds me of when I was younger. There was a girl who had feelings for me in middle school, since I was the only person in her life who actually reached out to her and seemed interested in talking /interacting with her. As the title of the song, we used to talk every night, whether by calling or by texting. She moved the year after I met her, then moved back, then moved again, and we haven't really talked in the last few years. I kinda miss talking to her every day, because even though I didn't know why she continued to want to, I had a lot of fun. Good times 🥲 if there are any young people reading this (specifically middle/high schoolers) try to keep in touch with those that are closest to you. Definitely not *all* of your 'friends', since you'll find most of them won't last after HS graduation, but keep the close ones close, because otherwise you'll be very lonely, especially if you can't afford college like I currently can't.
