I seem to be coming back to your vids, especially the Virus video series. I don't know why lol. In a few hours after I take kid to tutoring school. Back in my project studio room and I'll be turning on the Virus TI2 as I need a lead sound for the melody I made. I do use, I have to use the Aura editor to use the matrix. That's the only thing I use it for. I'm like a mad scientist going back and forth the matrix and virus knobs.

Definitely use the Aura MI software for mod matrix as the manual process on the hardware is very painful! I do fine without the plugin software for other functions. I only use the software when recording to DAW or if I need to use the mod matrix, load patches or configure the sequencer for the arp.

Is there a way to use the step sequencer and the arp on the virus ti2 without the computer software and if so, how would I set this up? Got a 3k synth, it should be possible!

The only thing holding me back from getting a virus is the programming tools are PC only. Does anyone know if a Mac version of any editor exists? Open source or commercial?
