The only reason for SA3 to be made is nostalgia, so all of the beloved characters from the original should be brought back assuming they are still living/working. Whoopi was not the only reason people enjoyed the original.

That was so awkward and rude to Kathy. She and Wendy (plus Dame Maggie Smith) were crucial to the first two Sister Acts success. It’s infuriating to longtime fans of the franchise to have people like Lizzo and the disgraced Tiffany Haddish, who haven’t proved their acting skills to be part of the threequal over someone who has played a crucial role in building the franchise. Whoopi and Tyler are making a massive mistake not bringing Kathy, Wendy or Maggie back for Sister Act 3.

That was so awkward! Kathy should be in Sister Act 3! I like jennifer lewis but she’s not the star of the movie! Sister Act was about Whoopi and her friendships with Kathy and Wendy! Let’s not forget her wonderful interactions with Maggie Smith! And no to tyler perry!

As much as I love whoopee, I love that Kathy let her know in uncertain terms how unhappy she was not being asked.
