Edward Hopper's Creative Process

Edward Hopper discusses the slow development of his iconic images, part of the exhibition Hopper Drawing: A Painter's Process at the Walker Art Center.

I love this. I was sad that other critics said his paintings are depressing and isolating. When I look at his paintings, I see a sense of peace, intimacy, and hope.
They are exhibiting his work at the Whitney Museum of Art! totally recommend it!

A phantastic artist. I believe, his work and it’s influence on 20th Century Arts is vastly underestimated. And Even more than just Fine Arts: Just let’s think about cartoons of Disney, particularly Carl Barks. By influencing this culture, Hopper has a huge impact far beyond his later appreciation by scientists. Lots of thanks to him, for what he gave to us.
