The Sapphires - Medley - Soul Review - AIM Melbourne 2015

The students and teachers of The Australian Institute of Music present a funky ride through the history of African American Soul Music. Emerging in the US in the 1950’s from a convergence of Gospel and Blues, the “Soul Revolution” swept all before it.

From Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder and the early Motown Classics to the present day, Soul Music is an enduring force in Popular Culture.
The Concert will include a special performance from Soul Diva “Angela Librandi”
