This is one of the best pde's book. It has everything you need to know ( classification, qualitative properties, method of characteristics, green functions, Fourier analysis, Laplace transform, separation of variables +Sturm Liouville, numerical methods finite differences (Laplace, heat and wave eqs) and variational+fem for elliptical equations). Excellent book, buy it even if you do not like it at the beginning, it is very good.

That book is a rigurous intro to PDEs, is not your usual separation variables book like Strauss. This is theorical approach.
