I'm learning this on my free time and I wish studying in school had the same feeling. Because I mean the trick with e^ax+bt is something I would have just mindlessly memorized in school, but on my free time I truly appreciate its cleverness even though in the grand scheme it's probably a minor discovery.

My master thesis dealt with basically solving nonlinear coupled PDEs. I used COMSOL Multiphysics to get approximate solutions with Finite Element Method.
After the whole numerical solution stuff it's somehow refreshing to see an introduction to the topic of PDEs.
