Ive only been sequencing with fl studio and korg emx1 for about 2 years now and i like how this is going might i add very inpressive as he is ONLY sampling the INSTRUMENT sounds and playing them through a piano roll type style or live record while other things are sequencing ethier way that was a jammin track my friend probly buying this now

hi 1010music, question(s): i read that it is possible to make sequences in odd/irregular meters (5/4, 7/4, 11 etc) but not in song modus. is that correct? and if so will you update it in the future so one is able to create a song in, let#s say, 13/8? and if not, why? ;-)

I’ve had this for 5 days and I’m pretty frustrated with it so far. I love the idea of recording sequences and then turning them into songs, but I’m having issues recording external instruments which this video demonstrates can be done. Maybe I got this device all wrong.

I was hoping I could record on to the box with my Yamaha MX49 keyboard using its own internal sounds, not the sounds on the Blackbox. Haven’t found a way to do that. I was also planning on recording my e-drum kit on to it using Superior Drummer 3’s samples. And how do you record guitar tracks?

The MIDI part of this is confusing me as well, but to be fair I’m pretty new to MIDI. The default MIDI does not trigger multiple pads. I found that choosing channel 1 would let me trigger internal sounds on the Blackbox chromatically, but is there a way to just record what I’m playing on my keyboard (using MX49 sounds only) or guitar riffs?

Again, I may have misunderstood what this unit actually can do. I’m hoping 1010music will shed some light here. Thanks!

I'm a drummer and I so interisting in using this amazing box with my roland drum module, is it possible to integrate with my drums in a jam live loop kind session, more precisly I want to be able to start a drum pattern on my roland and loppedback in the next bar, is it possible?

amazing video, although it were not apart of this coverage, I had wondered upon slicing a sample into several different parts, are you able to split those slices along the 16 pads ? I also wanted to know is it 16 pads per sequence or 16 pads for all sequences ?
