India celebrates cricket like it celebrates a festival. But when it comes to the game of football, it’s not the same. That doesn’t mean there are less football fans in India, no! India contributes a significant amount of viewership to international football tournaments being broadcasted live - then why is it that the Indian football team never makes it to the FIFA World Cup, one of the top football tournaments in the world.

In this video, we will try to answer this question by diving a bit deeper into the history of Indian football and the factors that affect the growth of football in India.

Bro, this video is an eye opener for me, I admit that as a football fan I watch champions league and other European leagues but never watched ISL even I don't know the major Indian leagues...
We have to watch our players playing doesn't matter if we are not enjoying the game because we have to make them strong by our support
THEY NEED US !!

Being a Sikkimese, I can proudly say that Sunil sir is a great person / player in the world .. we have seen him struggling, hustling, and working hard ..

But Indian people don't give much attention to football and due to the system FIFA banned India this year

The thing is that we now need better Managers (International Coach). We lack good stratigic executions, which would also will enhance the *On-field-Play-Quality*

The problem with Indian football is the lack of available talent pool of players . People love watching football in here but out of them very few play football.

Even when few guys play football, the infrastructure is so bad that they don't know what to do next .

Basically in India you can pursue any sport only upto 15-16, after that parents and teachers forces you to focus on studies .

There are small steps taken by our system (excluding aiff) to improve the quality of football in India like hosting FIFA u17 wc, appointing big coach like Igor stimac giving good training to u16-17 boys with quality opponents but we have not achieved anything remarkable on last 4-5 years . We are playing the same way as we played earlier .

Dedicated player for a particular game, for him doesn't make sense "ki stadium khali hai ki bharee". No advertisement agar match ho toh no telicast info. Only we get the updates of cricket, hockey and kabbadi. There are many more games left that are underrated in Indian audiences or you may say "youths".
