I went to a climate change protest once. I live in Canada.
When a few people started singing the national anthem they were shut down instantly, because it was offensive to the natives.
I was too scared to open my lunchbox because it had meat in it, and some 'meat is murder' people were in the crowd.
After I managed to make my way out, I felt disappointed in myself for associating with them even once.
To put it bluntly, seeing these clowns in person instead of behind a screen is a special kind of disturbing.
