Compared to how she acts on "Modern Family", this episode proves she has lots of range as an actress 👏

One of the best acting I have ever seen in this show

That would have been powerhouse acting from a much older and degreed performer. But from a young adolescent? She SOLD IT, from beginning to end. L&O brings the casting talent, every time, and I will definitely watch for her in future projects. Brava!

For everyone who’s saying that she’d insane…..either you’ve never seen the full episode and only watched this one clip, or you saw the episode but only watched this clip. Yes she killed Elsa however, she had been taking a drug that allowed her to stay up for 6 days straight….that drug caused her mental task state to be messed up, as well as to hallucinate. When she killed Elsa, she wasn’t fully aware of what she was doing until after it had been done.

SVU holds the record for most Guest Star Emmy nominees & Sarah was robbed in this inclusion. She was brilliant in this role, magnificent in all scenes, I couldn't turn away when she was on screen. She was captivating & deserved the nomination and Emmy, but it didn't happen. I love this episode because of her acting, JUST BRILLIANT!!

This is what I’m always saying. Placing the expecting children to be smart and the best, the pressure to be the best causes them to live up to it… by any means necessary; not to mention that fear of failure said by their parents would also be a contributing factor for them to be the best and it will eat them alive.

For example, a coach pressures his football team to keep going and be the best. Why? It could be an establishment of masculinity or the principle’s boss tells him that if the school doesn’t win a trophy this year, you’re fired. The principal then tells the coach if the team doesn’t win, it will also be the coach’s job on the line and the coach in turn pressures the team over the top. The players are so pressured that they start taking drugs to be able to perform.

Expectations hurts the kids. Give them time to take a break.

Sarah deserved an Oscar or an Emmy for this performance!

First, she cracked under the pressure

Second, she didn't need to be Elsa's best friend, even under the best of circumstances

She was perfect for that role. Her intensity was incredible!! The sad fact of the matter is that so many young people are pushed so hard to be the best they can never be anything else.

With some actors, you can’t help but only see them as their most significant role/character, no matter what character they play. But with Sarah’s incredible acting here, I don’t see Haley Dunphy, I see a completely different character. That’s how you know an actress is talented, being able to play different roles so distinctly without seeming like they’re simply the same person in someone else’s shoes.

Yup .. she just proved insanity, I remember seeing this episode. If this were a real case she would have to go to a psych unit not prison.

She is brilliant. You can tell that she went through it when she was young. Brilliant actress 👏

I felt every emotion she put into this character.

(Psa: The fact that this actually happens because kids want their parents approval isn't okay. I hope any teen that feels like this knows they are worth more then their grades.)
