Sir i have another way to find the n. Idk if its a smart way or not but.

I normally just write the diffrence with the n. Then i go to the first number in the sequence and i just go back from how much the n number is.

a is the first difference
u1 is the first term
a=-3
a+b=u1
-3+b=14
b=17

forkula=un=-an+b
un=-3n+17
