Review of Every Naturium Product I've Tried (So Far!) | Ray Reviews

It really reminds me of either NYX or Maybelline packaging. That’s not an insult to either of those brands, they’re two of my fav drugstore brands. But if I’m paying $37 for a foundation (like for the Huda one)….I want the packaging to be a little more innovative/appealing.

I'm okay with packaging "looking cheap" as long as the savings get passed on to me and it uses less materials so it's better for the planet. If packaging will make a $50 foundation closer to $30 then make it all look drug store. I just want it to work and do as little damage to the environment as possible.

i'm surprised that no one has mentioned this yet, but it's not just important bc it's the first thing people see. the other big thing is that everyone in the makeup industry is doing the same thing. there is never anything unique, formula quality overall has been pretty level across price points, the only thing you can really do to set your product apart from others is to knock packaging out of the park. i mean, it's no wonder why florasis and flower knows became so admired
yikes
On the somewhat opposite side, people ALSO get frustrated at "luxury" brands selling their makeup for very high prices if the following situation happens: the packaging looks and feels very nice, but it turns out that the actual product inside feels cheaply formulated or does not perform well. It feels like you are paying that high price tag solely for the packaging/name while getting a crummy product inside.

The font too! When I first saw it I thought it was from Makeup Revolution. They have tjat same font and packaging style

In your expert opinion, does this type of packaging have a lower environmental impact? If so im all for it! :)

I personally think this packaging looks very cheap - looks like something NYX would launch!

I just realized I've never bought anything from huda beauty because none of their packaging ever looked appealing to me.

I mean, you pay like 30€/40$ for this foundation. Obviously, I want packaging to look better than drugstore makeup

Whatever the foundation is gorgeous, Huda is an absolute queen and her brand does not support genocide ❤️ 🍉 🔻 🇵🇸 ✌️

To me product packaging is almost just as important as the product itself, it needs to sell me on the ✨fantasy✨. I want to look at my makeup/it’s packaging and for it
tell me a story about who’s buying this product. 💋💄✨

So sad she's being beat up for this. From everything I have seen this product eats. I'd rather have cheap packaging and have the money go into new and effective technology. Drugstore packaging shouldn't be an insult since we all know drugstore products often outperform many more expensive and luxurious, top selling, trendy, or mid tier brands. Does the package work? Does it dispense easily? Does it leak? Can you control how much product is released? And again, HOW IS THE PRODUCT??? YOU CAN PUT CLAIRES MAKEUP IN A HEAVY GLASS PACKAGE WITH GOLDEN ACCENTS AND SOFT MATTE LETTERING AND PAY 100S BUT IT IS STILL CRAP.

As someone who loves drugstore and high end makeup people not to get the fck over it. You're buying whats inside the component. As long as component is functional, user friendly, protects the product from debris ots done its damn job.
This obsession over components being "luxurious" IS A WASTE. did we forget about our problem with plastics and not being able to recycle the small plastic pieces in some stupid trendy component.
This is why its so damn hard to convince companies to focus on eco friendly packagaing. Entitled consumers who needs to feel "expensive". Girl you bought $37 foundation, be proud you can afford that.

I would rather have AMAZING product rather then pay a couple dollars more for packaging. Everyone that has used this product talks about how amazing it is😊

I love this, because we usually think about the objective qualities of packaging but today it's about the subjective, and how it matters even if it's the most sustainable, easy to use, etc

When you buy a Luxury Item, you expect a Luxury Experience. When you get given such a cheap looking package for a not ultra luxury got still not cheap price, it makes you feel like you lost money. Atleast to me.
Its like if you buy a royles royce but when you get it, it looks like a Camry with a spirit of ecstascy.

I don't care about the packaging honestly because I'm not paying to see the packaging I'm paying for what is in the bottle. Most often if not all the time expensive packaging means an average product. If the foundation is excellent then what is the problem? You are not wearing the packaging on your face.

The bottle is ok, that large tacky font however makes it look SO cheap.

I have bought and NOT bought items because of packaging. It also effects the durability and longevity of the product.
