This song came out around the middle of my massive weight-loss, I prayed to God to fix me for me, I believe I was given access to weed so I can open my eyes, if God didn't put that in front of me, I would probably be dead right now.

I have lost over 200 lbs in under 3 years, and I thank God for that, I thank Jesus Christ for being the voice in my head, I thank God again for saving me.

Matt, i met you at uprise a couple years ago at a meet and greet that I got in with a friend of mine. And all I could say was hi and thank you and I got so nervous and emotional because your lyrics literally saved my life. I came across him and his old band back in Jan/Feb ish and heard the song "Lead me." I thought that song was going to be the start of my family being restored. I listened to it and cried a many nights. She ended up filing for divorce and there has been a good chance that another man was part of it. The whole "We're Just Friends" was said quite a bit. Mind you she brought my children around him and has been to a wedding w/this man while still married. She turned out not to be the woman I saw come down the aisle. There's a long story but my faith in God has been challenged. I was never the biggest religious person but I feel my next chapter will be written w/a better ending. 16 years/8 married/3 children is hard for me to lose but I feel I'm better off w/out her. I like this guy and will be listening some more to help restore some faith. She walked away and now I have to "LET HER GO!" I don't think I could ever take her back, not w/what I know now.
