Kase Master Macro Lens for Toy Photography

Real shallow depth of field and bokeh with a phone camera? I review the Kase Master Macro Lens (and CPL filter) to see how well it works for toy photography.

The short of it is if you are serious about getting a shallow depth of field in-camera without AI such as portrait mode, adding the Kase Master Macro Lens will definitely help you there.

You will sacrifice convenience, handling, and focus distance though.

The lens is great! And it fits perfectly on the Sandmarc case (for those who already have Sandmarc lenses), which has the same 17mm landing thread. This way you don't have to spend time aligning the lens and making sure it doesn't slip.

There's a big KASE catalog for phones that could resolve all the inconvenience that you mention in the video.
- Special smartphone KASE cases to allow mount the lens.
- Telephoto, wide and anamorphic lens
- Filters (ND, GND, CPL, night, etc)
