Finally I got to making videos about traditional Belarusian cuisine!

I tried to give a general overview and mentioned the dishes we usually prepare in our region.
You will find out about my favourite dish and I am going to cook it for you!

Such beautiful folk traditions in Belarus! The embroidery, food and song are so full of color and life. It’s great to see these haven’t disappeared and hope they can continue. Wonderful video🤗

This is something that is sadly missing from western culture for the most part. A deep tradition of food that was made the same way by many successive generations and purposefully perpetuated by events like the one depicted in your video. The food looks amazing and the costumes make the event very special.

I think that here in North America food traditions like this still exist in places but most have been replaced by fast, convenient food that is easy to prepare and has dubious nutritional value. Here a lot of people are constantly running around, hurrying to get to the next activity they have scheduled, trying to pack as much into their lives as they can but they loose things like food traditions and even the simple idea of sharing a daily meal with loved ones. I prefer the old ways, simple food prepared with love and kind intention is a blessing to those who consume it.
