I use envelopes but I just keep a paper in there with the budget amount written on it, then I subtract the expense as I spend it (using my debit card). Just knowing the amount I've allocated, and noting the spending as I go keeps me on track.

I have a red Dave Ramsey wallet that I have been carrying for 4-5 years. It has been so helpful, and I love it. It is getting pretty ragged. I really like this option. I carry groceries, eating out, pets and clothing money. I stick my mad money in the front pocket.

I feel the same about groceries. I don’t do pick up or any of those services. I shop my own stuff. I hear other Youtubers use the grocery pick up services and then they complain about the stuff that they get. Lol 😂

Because I buy the bulk of my groceries at Walmart and they are generally the same, I do grocery pickup. Other stores like Publix I will go inside occasionally when they have sales that I like and they do have food clearance that I can look through. My husband is like you about other people touching the groceries, but we do wipe everything down at home. It just really saves me time on the things I buy every week (even if I want to go inside for a few items).

Hi Shakema, in your January 2021 budget video you stated that $250 was for monthly groceries and $50 was for a summer grocery card! Just in case you were going to a lot it for cotsco or preps you originally said it was for summer groceries and I know how important it is you get your cards for the summer.*Sidenote: I commented that at the beginning of the video and while I'm watching you realized it :)
