Description:

In 1812, during Napoleon Bonaparte's invasion of Russia, his army captured Moscow only to find it abandoned and soon engulfed in flames. The great fire of Moscow was a deliberate act of sabotage by the Russians, who set the city ablaze to deny resources to the French army. This scorched-earth tactic left Napoleon stranded, marking a turning point in his campaign and leading to the disastrous retreat from Russia.

Technically, Napoleon did not burn down Moscow. The Governor General, figured that it was more honorable to burn it to the ground, rather than fall into French control. In an ironic twist, he ordered all the jails in Moscow acting under police orders for the criminals to set fires.

Not only the Russians did to prevent the Napoleon and his army from using the resources and food but what he fails to mention is the fact that over 100, 000 of his men died. The number is believed to be as high as a million including civilians and others. That is nothing to celebrate.

Well, in fact you didn't.
Russians burnt Moscow and French troops, along with my Polish brothers and sisters, frozen to death out there.
This movie has so much mistakes that it's terrible.
