Melo almost didn't make it back in the NBA.

Melo learned how to score from MJ and then became one of the best iso players ever. This man was lethal in his prime

All I came here for is for Max to take his foot out of his mouth regarding Melo and give that man and his fans the apology they deserve. These analysts are like politicians...its hard for them to admit they were dead wrong. One of the all time greats Melo, class personified. I'm so happy he used their hate as fuel.

I was one of the few people who defended Melo the whole time he was being slandered glad he’s proving people wrong .

Even if Melo never wins a ring, he's a first-ballot HoFer. Being top 10 in scoring is first-ballot worthy.

Just imagine if they didn’t hate on him in Houston 🙄‼️ They owe him points.

Melo is under appreciated. He did this with a few years off and/or years while not even being the second option on the team.

A little love here for the player he passed: Elvin Hayes, one of the NBA's 50 Greatest Players!

He’s Literally A Walking Hall Of Famer But That Ring Would’ve Been The Icing On The Cake.

Everybody thought Melo was done when he was always able to still play. OKC and Houston forced him to be a catch and shoot player, while Portland has allowed him to be himself.

First ballot Hall of Famer I hope he gets a ring before his career ends🙏🏽

I'm happy for him. I was never a fan of the guy, but he had some time off and changed his attitude. Came back more humble and accepted a secondary role. He's still putting up solid numbers and I can appreciate that.
