The fact that this episode is an hour long and doesn't even get all the way through the first day is amazing and I can't wait for the rest of the season. Tom is already showing himself to be a phenomenal guest as well.

As usual the real star of this show is the editing. The black forest cake challenge was so masterfully cut together, really told an engaging story. Great start to the new season!

50:17 - Haha, the cashier in the ice cream shop said "Gleichfalls" (which means "you too") when Adam said "Guten Tag" as a goodbye. She just rolled with it and probably assumed something close to the truth, that a young american was trying to speak the local language without actually being able to. Kinda nice way of saying "It doesn't mean what you think it means, but I get what you are trying to say and I wish you a good day, too."

I can just tell this season is Amy's favorite because of how she got to write the challenges. For a season like this she is the perfect person to be doing that honestly.
