Pac was a cool dude! I met him here in Hawaii back in 1992ish not long after Tupacalipse now was released. This was before tupac became the TUPAC we all know. Was chilling at the beach with friends resting we just got out of the water from a surf session and Pac and three of his boys came by and was asking us questions about surfing and where was the cool hang out spots and of course asking about our local girls. We had a couple of joints and smoked with them and gave them two joints when they left. And that’s my story on meeting tupac. Wish we had cell phones back then I wudda took some pics. Great memories! Rip Tupac!

Its a breath of fresh air to watch a video where an og in the music industry talks on street politics and music politics and dosnt come off as fake. These days every one has a giimmick respect to dude

I remember a dude who came to Compton and wanted to get put on the set. The homies said ok but you got to put in some work first. He went a did some dirt on their enemies, got caught a couple days later, and did 10 years. I remember the homies laughing at him and calling him stupid. Long story short…if you wasn’t raised in it, stay out.

I always appreciated RBX ! His approach to the way he rhymes and how he articulates himself during interviews. His perspective is very refreshing! He also kept it a Buck!

I def can relate to what he’s saying. We had a homie named “grimace” that hung around the set but he was from a different area that had a different clique of cats known as the “B.K” set. Granted, Grimace wasn’t a gang member, he was just affiliated with us. When things went left, we embraced him but me as the head leader had to let him know that If he wanted to be apart of this clique, he had to be jumped in. He agreed and homie got down ( he had mad squabbles!). Once it was all over and done, he was apart of the “McD’s” clique! Yeah, we were beefing with the B.K set.. however, it was more than a beef. All the lies and rumors about our ice cream machine working half of the time was straight bullsh** (and that’s on the dead homie Mayor Mccheese!) all I have to say is this..This gangster ish is real! and Also… For all those out there who are hungry and want to really eat, and not have to worry about the burgers buns being all too soggy, the shift manager dancing all in the commercials, COME TO MCDONALDS!!!

As an inactive person, that gang shit is pointless as an adult. Finding a trade to master or getting your CDL is WAY more better than being around the gang. Rather have legit money, a nice place, and a nice car with peace and quiet versus living that gang life which will put you behind bars or in the grave early. At the end of the day, you’re nothing but another number in the gang.

The most intelligent and artistic among us sometimes find it hard to find a place where they truly fit in. And I think Pac was looking for family. He had lots of influences but nowhere he really considered as home... Just my thoughts

RBX I like your interviews but we going to need more people about 2Pac getting jumped into the MOB. I am Art, I remembered Mob James saying Pac didn’t get initiated but they allow him to claim MOB because they liked and were fans of Pac.
Art is going to need to get Napoleon or Mob James back on the show to verify that he did get initiated. I do know Pac was yelling MOB a lot on the All Eyez on Me record but no so much on the Makaveli album. Art you need to do a little more digging into this.

I seriously doubt he got jumped into the Bloods. He was MOB affiliated at the end, yes, but he wasn’t a Piru and I can’t imagine Tupac willingly getting beaten up to be down with someone. If that was the case, wouldn’t he had gotten jumped by the Crips too??? Makes no sense. I think they just welcomed him in.

I LOVE RBX's voice. He is like a living animation. When you first look at him you don't expect to hear that beautiful baritone voice!!

I remember back in day the word was that RBX left because he didn't want to play the Satan in murder was the case video. We were young teens, but shows how deep this shyt was.

This is actually a TREMENDOUSLY POWERFUL STATEMENT. Prior to this no one has ever so I intimately affiliated him with the MOB
