@bdmeyersc, the CP9575 does not have battery back-up, so it doesn't save live data. The "Program Mode" message is the 9575 looking for updates. If you'd like a Code Reader where you can upload info to a PC, check out the CP9580

I have yet to find a single comment on Amazon, or any auto forum that this scanner works properly with the Scanning Suite software. This scanner can not be used unless it is plugged into the car. When you plug into the USB port of a computer it powers on and goes straight to "PROGRAM MODE" which you cannot escape./ That means all the fancy captured data can't be accessed where you need it.

If i can't capture the data and plug it into a pc usb... and extract data this is worthless.
