Fog Catcher

Our experimental trial-run fog catcher on a rooftop in San Francisco, a good way to make use of an available water resource even when it isn't raining.

Thanks for sharing. I’ve always been partial to a harp type design. More efficient than a mesh design. Metal wire might increase condensation. Spiral design.

I think the system could benefit from some sort of vibration to help combine the droplets and make them heavier so they can travel down the system quicker

As you're collecting data, how are you preventing it from catching rainwater during the rainy months? Is it sheltered from rain somehow? Do you have a similar setup nearby without the fog collection netting to see what the difference is between fog collection and non fog collection tanks?
