My grandma bought my brother and I a Model 2 Sega Genesis with Sonic 1, Sonic 2, Chakkan The Forever Man and Streets of rage 2 for $15 at a garage sale back in the early 2000’s. She was one hell of a bargainer, lmfao.

The model 2 is the most practical to use if your playing the Sega cd or 32X, it also is small but not small like the model 3 and it’s the one I have.

If you buy the Model 1 be sure to pick the one with "Hi Definition Graphics" words printed on the face. The Model 1 that doesn't have "Hi Definition Graphics" written on it had the bad sound boards.
