At 7:26, in the end the result is more co2 emissions, that's exactly not the reason why we are stimulating renewable energy!

We need to stop the renewable vs fossil fuel discussion.
It should be low carbon vs high carbon discussion.
The solution is wind, solar, hydro, geothermal and nuclear.
We need much more nuclear instead of biomass, biofuel and biogas.

If more people owned an arga and log fires etc this would be more efficient because there wouldn't be such a need to generate electricity aswell. Storing logs and coal for use in the extreme conditions is far more efficient.

We would be better off going back to coal for our heat and electrical generation. First work out how much coal we have left and work out how much co2 would be released from burning it. Then work out how many trees we would have to plant to offset emissions in a given time frame. Simple .
