Nice to see these are constantly evolving, I just picked up a 2024 and I think it’s great other than the upgraded dash on the 25. I’ll be keeping mine for a few years. I really like this model despite what people say about the four-cylinder, hybrid, gets great gas mileage.

Lexus is sacrificing Horse Power for Fuel Economy. Not just in the RX, but in the GX as well. Some buyers will do the same and be happy.
We own a couple of Lexus cars and my wife will not give up the GX with the V8. Even after 3+ years the dealer tries to buy it back and last offer was $40, 000.00 for our 2021.

I have driven both the RX Prem with a 6 cyl and the 4 cyl Turbo. The 2.4-liter 4 cyl has 20 fewer horsepower, but 50 more pounds-feet of torque than the V-6. However, it can't help the driving experience feel premium. The 317 pounds-feet of torque helps acceleration at lower engine speeds, but it's not transformative and there's not much zip in its acceleration overall (0-60 mph arrives in 7.2 seconds). Every day driving, to me was not all that much different at all. Around town, etc. If your racing from light to light, then you will not be happy. Entering the highway or accelerating around other cars on the highway; yes the 4cyl Turbo is going to make more noise. Its not quite as much muscle to make the move as the 6 cyl, but it can get the job done.

But the goal for Lexus here was to maintain the luxury ride and get the higher EPA. At the end of the day, its still a very nice car, very nice ride and it gets great gas mileage. But don't side eye and reeve the engine at the light. You will not win.

Does the 2025 have the options to disengage the stop/start engine function? This stops the engine when you're idling, add a red light or stop sign.

is the tow hitch a standard option now for every luxury? all the luxury trims i’ve seen include it and i hate it!

I ordered a new Lexus RX500h at the end of September, I am still waiting for the vehicle to be delivered to the dealer (scheduled for December 2024)
My question is: will it be possible to update the old type of MID display/cluster to the new type of MID display that will be in the 2025 Lexus RX vehicles, or is this a completely new hardware solution for this display and updating to the new MID display is not possible? Thank you

Does the ambient lighting dim to the minimum when you engage to PARK or REVERSE like the 2024 models?
