Офигенно, Анна очень брутальна здесь... совсем неожиданно для нее. Глупо спорить, что эта партия не для ее типа голоса написана. Но это исполнение Нетребко на 100% соответствует образу и партии. Главное, Анна давно достигла такого статуса и уровня, когда идешь "слушать Нетребко", а не "слушать 'Макбет" (или что-то другое) Это еще одна грань ЕЕ таланта. Все в лирико-колоратуре она уже спела, она расширяет границы своих возможностей, и ей это прекрасно удается👏👏👏

Domingo looks like the grandfather of Macbeth!! He acts in a strange way.and goes down in pitch..Netrebko has all the extention to the role..I don't know how people complain so much about her.She doesnt 'get down in pitch ...Her voice is maturing with the age, it's normal that

Barenboims Tempi werden immer seltsamer, die Tendenz zu verschleppen ist hörbar. Und damit tut er Netrebko, die nicht unbedingt eine geläufige Koloraturgurgel hat, keinen Gefallen. Die Trinkszene ist einschläfernd. Erinnern wir uns doch mal an Sinopoli und Zampieri - was für ein Schmiss und Feuer - in dieser Produktion klingt es eher nach gezogener Handbremse.

How I would have loved to have seen this.The witches are great and chorus awesome! Lady's first aria is pretty comical, but I love her smooth balsamy tone- no need to be screechy to be effective! Amazing how good Domingo still is at his age!

We should not blame the singers for the oddities encouraged by directors who seem to have no real grasp of the differences between spoken theater and any type of musical theater. Also, while updating is sometimes incredibly effective, the director must have some clear perspective on the actual script/score and its implantation. In many of these updatings, that sensitivity is complete absent.

Netrebko is not that bad as so many people claim. Voice has grown enormously actually. The rest is a matter of taste and musicality.
