I love Maddona, but the theme of the way this song was portrayed is All Wrong. It has nothing to do with nature itself nor the enactment of nature. It is a song about emotions, sad ones that are flooding in and sweep across our hearts like a rain storm. It's a metaphor for heartbreak, not to be taken Literally. This contemporary art-like video does not Express the real meaning of the song at all. The Cosmo-modern, stiff expressionism is so fake that it is opposite of Emotions, instead implies Coldness and devoid of human depths. The Eurythmics video show crashing ocean waves, powerful rain storms and lightning. That's the way to portray this song, not some neo-plastic, botanically Stiff, Artificial acting.
