Guilmant- Final from Sonata 1 | St Stephen's Macquarie St

Yes, I do still perform in live concerts! No handheld footage for this one, as I didn't want to disturb the live audience.

This was from a recital I gave of Guilmant's Organ Sonata No 1 this week, at St Stephen's Uniting Church on Macquarie St in Sydney. I'm a big fan of Guilmant's formal yet highly musical writing and harmonic language.

Great to find this on Sunday morning. On of my favourite Organ pieces, especially in the version with orchestra. I love the rhythmic vibrance of the playing and the enthusiasm and panache of your playing. Thank you so much.

Loved the dynamics of this piece. Would love to hear someone else play it.

Bravo Titus! I played this at SSMS too before the new console. It was a challenge registering with only divisionals :)

I only just came across your thrilling performance. Congratulations. Aren't sequencers useful! I suppose Guilmant had two registration assistants.

Fantastic performance, Titus, well worth the applause at the end: bravo! (I've often wondered if the Toccata by Gaston Bélier was influenced by the Final from this Guilmant Sonata - what do you think?)

Great performance. Question: How are you turning the pages on the iPad?

Very exciting. It would be nice if you smiled into the camera and said hello and what your name is, instead of Mr. Pep.
