Stanley Donwood is the perfect person to represent Thom's and Radiohead's artistic vision. I love seeing the end product.

"He was the guy at art college that can actually paint, they kicked me out, " -Thom Yorke 0:43

I find that very motivational. Don't doubt your skills. Very humble of him.

"I find it hard to look at these without hearing the music... it's in them. It's encoded." Yes. This is how I've always felt about Stanley's work and RH. It's so intrinsically linked. What a great video! So happy to see them both smiling and enjoying themselves.

Kid A's album cover is easily one of the most if not hauntingly beautiful cover. It sounds just like the album. Radiohead is the best band in terms of the album covers portrayed. I mostly bought kid A for the cover itself cause its beautiful to look at.

My hair stands up whenever I stare at the cover especially listening to the transition of the panic in National Anthem and the heartbreaking How To Disappear Completely.

To explain it shortly, this album can be described by "art is meant to disturb the comfortable and comfort the disturbed."

I am simply both.

I find it pretty fascinating how Stanley Donwood is a sort of shadow member of Radiohead, and yet has had a massive influence over the audience's perception of their music. There is a sort of loop between the music and the artwork that makes them inseperable from one another

A very different side of Thom showing through, smiling. even laughing! and seems to be totally at ease. It shows how essential that time was for him and thank you so much Stanley for helping to bring him back and reconnecting to his soul. Wonderful to have an idea of how the covers were created!! I thank the Higher Power who was by their sides during this time. Without it, what might have happened to Thom & wouldn't have The Smile and we wouldn't have this "gem" of a musician with us now. His spirit shines through and I hope he finds time to paint?? A very busy man and a joy to behold. Lots of love to you both xx

Love that they used Like Spinning Plates here, that song is CRIMINALLY underrated

Thom seems to be an adorable person, down to earth, modest. I don't only like the artist or the band radiohead, it seems that everyone in the band are so likeable and simple.

I was lucky enough to help Stanley build his exhibition in Sydney a few years ago. He gave me and a few mates complete control to let loose with nail guns and spray cans for a few days. Was a great weekend, even cooked him a roast dinner. He's a top bloke.

Probably the best band I’ve ever heard.

I love these dudes, hearing how deep thoughts and ideas turn into their art.

People think Thom is weird. I think he might be the most normal and relatable rockstar of our time. What a decent lad.
And Stanley Donwood is just brilliant, this is a real treat. Definitely one of the best bands in terms of artwork, always something there.
Took me like 10 days to realize there was another booklet under the CD in the Kid A jewel case. My brain almost exploded.

I’ll never forget getting Kid A in the year 2000 and wondering how they made art that somehow looked and felt like such a perfect representation of the music. It was so impressive.

What’s pretty cool is before seeing this video, I did a painting of lotus flower while only listening to lotus flower and painting along the beat and I can also only think about the music when I see it. I did it during COVID and it was such a moment. I’m glad to know they had a similar experience while making the music at the same time. I feel even more connected to them now. And to see them in a different element than just the music is just 👌

That’s the coolest part! You can’t look at the artwork without hearing the music encoded in it, or feeling the same things you feel listening to the music as you look at the art. It’s not just music and it’s not just art, and it’s beautiful done because if that.
