I got my recess taken away several times in third grade and several times in fourth grade. It was NOT fun, recess should never ever be taken away from kids. Kids need time outside and time to unwind. Taking away recess is a great way to make kids act worse later on

When I was in elementary school, I missed recess several times, and they sucked! Even my stepdad didn't let me have one a few times, and he also punished me by not letting me use the bars, ugh! I hated him! I think everyone needs to let children play longer than just minutes of playtime and of course to have freedom!
